Track 16 Mufti Curls |
Mufti Curls nonsense pop rock c/o Bo Diddley This piece of nonsense is the direct result of a voice recognition failure… Staying in an old haveli in Phalodi, we were plagued by mosquitos and pigeons . We couldn’t open our windows for the mass of pigeon nests and excrement on the ledges and one pigeon even had a nest with eggs in it on a ledge at the top of the stairs. Sheila wanted to use her phone’s English/Hindi translator to let the manager know that we weren’t happy about the state of affairs. I’m not sure about the Hindi, though, as the initial English voice recognition was all over the place. After many attempts, including something about mechanical kitchens, it came up with Mufti curls and pigeon hair… another cue for a song. words and music by Martin Stirrup 2017 E A E A E If you want to make a buck Lady won’t you take my hand Lately when I go to sleep You think you’re big, think you’re tough Keep it cool keep it discrete There’s one for you, one for me
