Making headway, Making headway
F G Em7 Am
Though we’re running ‘gainst the tide we’re making headway
Take it as its comes, or latch upon a thought
You don’t know if you’re learning, or what you have been taught
Or if you’ll be frustrated, or if you’ll find a way
Or if there’s any reason, who can say
Some people will turn back and others will be lost
Nothing ever comes to those who fear to pay the cost
Play it to fulfillment, tread the fearless way
But as to where you’re going, who can say
