Going down the avenue of volcanoes on the Chiva Expess, there was an extended family of ex-pat Ecuadorians holidaying from Spain. There were four adult sons and their families and a very proud father. All very nice (if a bit noisy at mealtimes and they tended to hog the best seats on the train) - but when we stopped at a hacienda to watch some cow-roping, the sons vying for attention got out of hand. One grabbed a red cloak and started to play bullfighting with the cow and the others joined in, getting more and more daring in their attempts to score points for pappa. The cow meantime got increasing annoyed and came close to goring one of them in the end...
