More about Archway Archives
Miracles do happen - Roger Brawn finally got round to digitising his old reel to reel tapes from the Archway (and later Blackheath) Sessions in the 70s. I'd put some of mine on The Album that Never Was, digitised from poor quality cassette copies - but these are of much better quality. I've added 4 of my tracks as 'bonus tracks' on Boobies as above and will try to post up the others later -but for all of Roger Wagner's songs go to

Two Stops from Upton Park - a jolly ditty going back to my roots...
gimme that dream - riding that Harley easy-rider style across the States... or maybe not...
greco-irish bangra - an instrumental of mixed influences ...
I want you - guitar and banjo song, now heavily arranged - there's a 'live' single-miked guitar/vocal version as the final 'bonus track'
not my kind of Shangrila - a finger-picked riff that grew... and the lyrics say it all
new tune - another instrumental that developed as I recorded it
lying in your grave - another song about a depressed person but hey Susie it's not me -OK?
sounds of sex and violence - a song for Darwin!
lost for words - a guitar-based instrumental that was originally destined to have lyrics, but somehow they never materialised...
Macho credentials - a south American fiesta!
Don't get fooled by appearances - a funky blues rant
tonne uppe - my 100th digitised recording with a strangely Olde feel...
boobies on the beach - the title track! (And a great way to pass many the happy hour....)
Bonus tracks from Archway Archives (mostly) - old analogue recordings from the 1970s with Roger Brawn plus Roger Wagner and Steve Franks (tracks 14 and 16).
I want you back girl - a new 'old' version only just rediscovered on one of Rog B's tapes and very different from the version I recorded for 'Back on the Cam'
Five Minutes Early - the very first Archway Archive track as on 'The Album that Never Was' but now straight from the master tape with Roger Brawn's beautiful lead guitar.
Only for me - a club favourite that I re-recorded and added organ to for 'The Album that Never Was' - but this is a straight 'live' take way back then.
Sunday night - Archway Archives comes to the rescue with the master tape of this one from 'The Album that Never Was' (albeit minus lead guitar) - the only version I had previously was totally mangled.
I want you - the single mic 'live' version of track 4 recorded in early 2009
